What I do

I am currently a graduate intern in DU's Health Promotion office, pursuing a Master's in the GSSW program, with graduation slated for Spring 2025. My journey is propelled by an unwavering passion for helping others and offering vital mental health and suicide prevention resources that place the emotional safety and well-being of our campus community at the forefront.

My dedication to mental health stems from a deep-seated belief in its significance. It's not just about addressing issues; it's about creating an environment where individuals can flourish emotionally, allowing them to focus on their academic pursuits and personal growth. Through my student-centered, research-backed initiatives, I aim to provide the tools and knowledge that empower students to navigate the complex landscape of higher education while maintaining their mental and emotional equilibrium.

As I advance through the GSSW Master's Program, my commitment to fostering a resilient and inclusive DU community remains steadfast. It's not just a professional endeavor but a personal calling driven by my passion for mental health advocacy. I believe that a supportive and empathetic environment is crucial for students to thrive academically and personally. By prioritizing emotional safety, we not only enhance individual well-being but also fortify the foundation upon which students can build successful academic journeys. In the end, I am dedicated to creating a campus where mental health support is not just a service but an essential part of our collective commitment to each other's growth and well-being.
