Allergy Injections

The HCC administers allergy injections to students on established regimens from their treating allergist. If you would like to receive your injections at the HCC, please make an appointment with a provider of your choice. In order to meet your needs most effectively, please take the following actions prior to your appointment:

• Ensure your serum has been sent to the HCC, or bring it with you to your appointment.
• Ensure appropriate documentation including your shot record and dosing schedule has been sent to the HCC, or bring it with you to your appointment.

Please note, we cannot currently administer allergy injections in the following circumstances:

• You have not yet received at least three shots.
• You have a history of severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) and have not had at least three subsequent injections without a similar reaction.

If you are not able to receive allergy injections at the HCC, we can refer you to a local allergy clinic for ongoing treatment.
