Hours, Locations & Parking

The DU Health & Counseling Center has several on-campus locations.

Located in the Ritchie Center on the northeast corner of campus, the main HCC location is a roughly 10-minute walk from the Anderson Academic Commons, and houses our Medical, Administrative and primary Counseling Services offices. (Other locations are noted below.)

  • ADDRESS and MAP: 2240 Buchtel Boulevard South, Denver, CO 80210 - Google Map link
  • From the south/Asbury St/campus side, enter beside the Coors Fitness Center, come up the ramp, and cross the main concourse to the north elevator or stairs. Signs indicate direction, and direct you to the 3rd floor.
  • From the north/Buchtel Blvd side, use the ground level entrance (left of and under exterior stairs) off the traffic roundabout, following back and right to take the elevator to 3rd floor. This external door is only open during HCC clinic hours.
  • The Ritchie Center's west (playing fields) and east (alleyway) doors are not public entrances.

The HCC is not an emergency room or urgent care facility. If you or someone around you is in an emergency situation, don't hesitate to call 9-1-1, or Campus Safety at 303-871-3000.

For a non-emergency illness, injury, or mental health crisis, call the HCC at 303-871-2205 — help is available 24/7.

HCC Asbury

We have three metered (pay) spaces for patients/clients at our HCC-Asbury location, located in the alley on the west side of the building, available first-come, first-served basis. Students checking in for appointments can scan the parking QR code at the Asbury Desk for free, short-term (during that appointment) parking in those spots.
