What I do

I value the integration of research and practice, with an interest in examining culture in the patient-provider relationship, resilience within marginalized populations, and techniques to improve training and supervision with novice clinicians. As a clinician, I approach each client as a unique individual, working with them to establish their intersecting narratives as an individual and as a member of society. I believe it is important to build an equitable relationship with clients and ensure that they feel seen as a whole person while seeking services.
