What I do
I am a doctoral candidate in Clinical Psychology and hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I am a former Division I rugby player and am currently working towards my Certified Mental Performance Consultant certification through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology. I have significant experience working with student-athletes and students in college counseling centers. I am passionate about helping students with issues related to adjustment to college, stress, depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, and trauma and PTSD. I value and aim to create a therapeutic relationship which encompasses vulnerability, openness, and honesty.
Professional Biography
I attended the University of Washington for my undergraduate degree where I studied psychology and earned a Bachelor of Science. During my time at UW, I played rugby and became interested in sport psychology. For my graduate training I currently attend the University of Tulsa where I am working towards my PhD in Clinical Psychology. At DU I serve as the sport psychology pre-doctoral intern where I work with students and student-athletes. I have significant experience working with students on an individual basis and have worked for two years in a college counseling setting. I have also worked with student-athletes on the team and individual level and have expertise working with them on issues related to sleep, confidence, mental toughness, anxiety, and performance concerns.
