What I do
Rilie's work within HCC’s Department of Health Promotion in collaboration with her supervisor, Kelsey Compton, is to oversee and coordinate the Thrive Peer Education program. She is responsible for recruiting, training, and supporting the undergraduate peer educators. She also assists with various health promotion activities, including outreach and campus-wide events, and collaborating with members of the Health Promotion team, HCC, and broader campus departments.
Professional Biography
Previous work includes time as an educator for the Utah Museum of Fine Arts, Salt Lake City Youth and Family Services, Salt Lake School District, and as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in both the Czech Republic and Latvia. Rilie was the Student Director and course instructor for the University of Utah's Peace and Conflict Studies program.
