What I do
I take a holistic perspective in considering the influence of our environment on our well-being and address mental health concerns from a multicultural lens. My own experience as an international student navigating interpersonal and systemic challenges taught me the importance of resilience, community building, and embracing diverse perspectives.
In our collaborative work together, I hope to provide you with practical tools and empower you to take steps toward what is authentic and meaningful to you. I am passionate about supporting individuals with minoritized identities, including BIPOC, immigrants and international students. I have experience addressing LGBTQ+, trauma, interpersonal, cultural, adjustment, grief, substance use, chronic pain, and academic concerns.
Professional Biography
I have received clinical training in various settings, including university counseling centers, outpatient community mental health centers, and an outpatient traumatic stress center in a hospital. Upon completion of my doctoral internship at DU, I will graduate from The University of Akron. I speak English and Mandarin.
