Update your local CONTACT INFOrmation
If moving to any new address (especially out of current residence hall) please make sure to update DU with your direct contact information. Login to my4DU, searching for "my person profile" if needed, update your local address (wherever that will be), your personal phone number (not a parent/family), and emergency contact information (family, friend, etc).

HealthCARE over summer break
Incoming (new) students are not eligible to use HCC clinical services until their on-campus orientation begins, even if already registered for classes.
Continuing students already registered for fall classes are eligible for HCC medical and counseling services through the summer, even if not enrolled in summer classes. However, if you're not also registered for summer classes (so summer HCF not billed), you will need to pay the summer HCF (not automatic) to receive service discounts; contact the HCC for details.
Continuing students not yet registered for fall classes are eligible to receive medical and counseling services at the HCC for 30 days after spring term. (You must be registered for fall classes to be eligible through the full summer.)
In all cases, out-of-pocket costs at the HCC will vary based on student’s insurance coverage and HCF status.
As always, eligible students can consult with our on-call providers about urgent medical and mental health concerns by calling 303.871.2205, and following after hours prompts when we are closed. (For emergencies, call 9-1-1.)
While HCC telehealth may be available for some situations, SHIP-covered students not in Denver can find local SHIP in-network providers via www.anthem.com/find-care

INSURANCE (SHIP) coverage for summer
Spring SHIP (student insurance) coverage ends 7/31 for Law/semester students, and 8/31 for quarter students, even if graduating in spring or summer.
Fall SHIP coverage begins August 1st for Law/semester students and September 1st for quarter students.
Continuing/incoming students should stay tuned to Banner, @du email, and myHealth Secure Messages for details on actively making fall SHIP decisions (accept or request waiver).
-
Health & Counseling FEE (HCF) for summer
Only eligible students enrolled in summer classes will be automatically billed for summer HCF. If you want HCF discounts on HCC-provided medical and mental health services through the summer, contact the HCC to opt-in and pay.
