Health & Counseling Fee (HCF)
The full HCF is automatically billed each term to most students registered for classes, to support campuswide health, well-being and crisis support programs, and also to provide discounts when they use HCC clinical services.
- For undergraduates, the HCF is mandatory; and cannot be waived.
- Graduate/Law students can make some choices each academic term, based on when they began their current graduate program. Details on our HCF page; and visit my4DU portal and select Student Resources > Records and Requests to make applicable decisions by each term's deadline.

If you are securing adequate alternative (non-DU SHIP) coverage beginning January 1st, you'll have the option to request a spring+summer SHIP waiver via online process. Stay tuned for details.
