All students enrolled at the University of Denver can use the services offered at the Health & Counseling Center (HCC)*. The cost of these services will vary based on the nature of your visit, your insurance plan, and payment of the Health & Counseling Fee (HCF).
Students are required to pay for all HCC services at the time of their visit. The HCC does not bill insurance companies or Medicaid — those with alternate coverage are responsible for seeking reimbursement from their providers. Students may also receive an invoice for services that were not billed at their visit (such as laboratory tests). *DU students in completely online programs are not eligible to enroll in SHIP or to receive services at the HCC.
