Professional Biography
I have been a clinically practicing physician assistant in Colorado since 1999. I spent the first 11 years of my career in primary care/family medicine/internal medicine. Thereafter, I spent the next 7 years working in the emergency department at SCL Health Lutheran and Good Samaritan Medical Centers. I earned a Certificate of Added Qualifications in Emergency Medicine during that adventure. I then spent 5 years practicing urgent care medicine in five busy clinics with OnPoint Medical Group.
With excitement, I joined the DU HCC team of medical providers in 2022! Student health care delivery has provided a return to my primary care roots. I appreciate the opportunity to spend more time with patients, a renewed focus on preventative medicine and wellness, and using my experience and skill set to help our students manage chronic conditions and overcome health challenges and injuries.
I am married with 3 children and a chocolate Labrador retriever. My husband is also a practicing physician assistant in internal medicine. We love everything outdoors in Colorado, including skiing, hiking, biking, and tennis! I also enjoy playing the piano.
