For students who have completed the accommodations request process, this section of the website provides helpful information regarding your SDS-approved accommodations. Here you can learn more about SDS and how to get your accommodations implemented. Click the buttons below to navigate to the resources you need!
If you are a new student who has not requested accommodations through our office before, please visit our First Time Requests page.
Use the Accommodate Portal to view your accommodations, send LOAAs to faculty, schedule a test in the testing center, schedule a meeting with someone at SDS, request additional accommodations, and more!
JamWorks is an amazing new tool that uses AI and recordings to generate detailed notes for your classes. Students approved for Notetaking Support or Audio Recordings in Class (SCOL students) may be added to DU's Jamworks account. If you are new to JamWorks, please schedule an appointment with the Assistive Technology Specialist.

If you believe your request for accommodation(s) or applicable academic adjustments was unfairly denied by the SDS, or if you disagree with SDS's decision to approve alternate accommodations or academic adjustments different from those requested, or you are dissatisfied with the implementation of approved accommodations or academic adjustments, you are entitled to file a grievance or accommodation appeal. SDS strives to resolve all disputes both promptly and equitably.
