Students with DSP Accommodations

Once you've received approval for your accommodation(s), the DSP's job is far from over. We'll work with you to ensure effective implementation of the accommodation(s), and facilitate your access to the myriad resources our DSP office provides.

On this page, you'll be directed to the most important tool in your DSP arsenal — the Accommodate Portal. You'll also find helpful information on utilizing the DSP Testing Center and the LARRK Assistive Technology Lab, requesting additional accommodations, filing grievances and accommodation appeals, and more!

Grievances and Accommodation Appeals

If you believe your request for accommodation(s) or applicable academic adjustments was unfairly denied by the DSP, or if you disagree with the DSP's decision to approve alternate accommodations or academic adjustments different from those requested, or you are dissatisfied with the implementation of approved accommodations or academic adjustments, you are entitled to file a grievance or accommodation appeal. The DSP strives to resolve all disputes both promptly and equitably.
