Notetaking Support

Beginning in January 2024, SDS is using JamWorks to support students who are approved for a notetaking support accommodation (previously housed under the Peer Notetaker program).

JamWorks is an amazing new tool that uses AI and recordings to generate incredibly detailed notes for your classes. If you are new to JamWorks, please schedule an appointment with the Assistive Technology Specialist.

Grievances and Accommodation Appeals

If you believe your request for accommodation(s) or applicable academic adjustments was unfairly denied by the SDS, or if you disagree with SDS's decision to approve alternate accommodations or academic adjustments different from those requested, or you are dissatisfied with the implementation of approved accommodations or academic adjustments, you are entitled to file a grievance or accommodation appeal. SDS strives to resolve all disputes both promptly and equitably.
