Donate to Student Assistance Fund

The Student Assistance Fund provides limited financial assistance to DU students who are unable to meet immediate, essential expenses due to temporary hardship. Funds are awarded as a grant, and unlike a loan, do not need to be repaid. Funds may count as income and may be subject to federal and/or state taxes.

The number of students who can be served by the fund is subject to available resources. With this in mind, we welcome contributions to the fund, which are essential as we work to sustain and expand its reach.

The Student Assistance Fund Helps Students in Distress

From providing funds to purchase necessary textbooks to ensuring food security and paying for other essential costs during economic hardship, the Student Assistance Fund makes it easy for DU students to join together and help each other through difficult times.

How Students Apply

The application process for the Student Assistance Fund seeks to understand and respond to the applicant's immediate needs while preserving funds for students facing the greatest hardship.
