Student Outreach & Support
Our Mission
Student Outreach & Support (SOS) helps students succeed by connecting them to resources. We develop action plans to meet student goals and help navigate challenging situations. The SOS staff creates an inclusive and welcoming environment for students. We develop skills in self-awareness, self-advocacy, resilience, and navigation to maximize educational experiences.
If you or a student you know is in need of support, submit an SOS referral. Staff members outreach students within 1-2 business days and share information about SOS.
Email sos@du.edu with any questions or if you'd like to schedule an appointment with a Student Support Advisor outside of drop-in hours.
DU will be closed from Tuesday December 24 through January 1st.
Normal Operations will resume on Thursday January 2nd.

When you submit an SOS Referral, whether it's for you or someone you know, you make our community stronger. We provide resource information about basic needs, medical leave, grief support, and more.

We at Student Outreach & Support also want to help you navigate the Referral Flow Chart.
