    Center for Community Engagement to Advance Scholarship and Learning (CCESL)

    The Center for Community Engagement to advance Scholarship and Learning (CCESL) leads the campus in acting upon the University of Denver’s vision to “be a great private university dedicated to the public good.” CCESL offers a variety of programs, events, trainings, and funding that focus on activating student, faculty, and community potential through partnerships that are reciprocal and mutually beneficial.

    Center for a Regenerative Future

    The Center for a Regenerative Future promotes social and ecological justice by empowering the University of Denver community to engage in critical, creative, and systems-thinking, and by serving as a hub for developing student, staff, and faculty ecological justice scholars who are dedicated to creating a just, joyful, and regenerative future. The Center provides leadership and coordinates units across campus in the intentional design of a just and regenerative future for DU and the community; interfaces between curriculum and institutional, community and regional sustainability practices; engages students to build community and learn through authentic, problem-based, interdisciplinary practice and research; provides resources for faculty and staff, students, student organizations and living and learning communities; and facilitates social-ecological justice education across campus. The Center services the whole campus community, with increasing focus on serving our neighbors and local community.

  • Student Inclusion & Belonging and Family Resources (Suite 1200)

    The Cultural Center

    Their mission is to create an environment where students of color, students of faith and LGBTQ+ students can critically engage their historical legacies, while enhancing their educational, intellectual, and personal/professional interest as it relates to race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, socioeconomic, and cultural sensibilities, while providing a physical safe haven for respite and dialogue as they navigate their journey at the University of Denver.

    New Student & Family Programs

    New Student and Family Programs (NSFP) is committed to the successful transition of new students and families into the University of Denver community. We provide inclusive, holistic programming designed to help students succeed and meet their goals, and develop meaningful connections with students and families. NSFP consists of staff members and student leaders who support students and families during the transition to higher education and we support connections through in-person events, social media, online resources, and newsletters.

    Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

    The Division of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion provides university-wide leadership and accountability in developing a diverse, equitable, and inclusive academic environment. In collaboration with campus and community partners, the division of DEI is an institutional resource that supports the university's mission and strategic imperatives. The division empowers the campus community toward the advancement of socially just research, creative works, teaching, and public service to the Colorado community and beyond.

    The division serves as an advocate in promoting equity by shaping university policies, practices, and programs. The division of DEI also supports the access and success of historically marginalized communities through the fostering of a diverse, equitable, and inclusive campus climate.

    4D Experience

    The 4D Student Experience empowers students to lead lives of meaning and purpose that serve the public good, enabling them to thrive at and beyond the University. In pursuit of this mission, the Office of the 4D develops, elevates, and integrates University-wide curricular and co-curricular activities and programs related to the four dimensions of advancing intellectual growth, exploring character, promoting well-being, and pursuing careers and lives of purpose.

    Student Outreach & Support (SOS)

    Student Outreach & Support helps connect graduate and undergraduate students to the appropriate campus or community resource. The SOS office is responsible for the SOS online referral system, the Medical Leave of Absence and Reentry Process as well as the Student Assistance Fund.

    Student Rights & Responsibilities (SRR)

    The Office of Student Rights & Responsibilities is educational and restorative in our student conduct processes and provides educational Outcomes, workshops and alternate case resolution options. Outcomes are designed to encourage self-awareness, social engagement, and provide opportunities for reflection and meaning-making. Please see the Honor Code or our website for more information.

    The Office of Academic Advising helps undergraduate students persist to graduation through support with major exploration, course planning, decision making, success coaching, academic skills development, and problem resolution.

    International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) supports internationalization at the University of Denver by serving as a resource to students, faculty, and staff in meeting the needs of the international community on campus.

    The University of Denver Office of Internationalization is responsible for developing and leading centralized international initiatives, and supporting intercultural and English language learner development across the university. This office also houses two units, the Office of International Education and International Student and Scholar Services.

    Health Promotion

    Part of the Health & Counseling Center, the Health Promotion team educates, empowers, and supports students related to safer alcohol and other drug use, mental health, sexual health, healthy relationships, and gender violence prevention. Health Promotion’s offerings include educational workshops, outreach events, and programs; health and well-being information and resources; and the Thrive Peer Education program.

    The Office of Student Engagement believes in unleashing students' potential to lead and impact the world. Our mission is to provide all University of Denver students a co-curricular experience which empowers them to explore, connect, and grow.  Collectively, our team advises Undergraduate & Graduate Student Government, the DU Programing Board, and our Fraternity & Sorority Life Councils, and provides well-rounded support to Undergraduate Student Organizations, Fraternity & Sorority Chapters, and all students looking to build community on campus and grow in their personal leadership journey.
