Undergraduate Academic Advising
Undergraduate students in your first year are advised by your FSEM (First Year Seminar) instructor, and by an advisor in the Office of Academic Advising (Music and Hospitality Management majors in the first year are advised by your departments).
Starting your second year, undergraduate students are advised by your departments. Some departments have faculty academic advisors, and others have staff academic advisors – you will receive emails from your assigned advisor telling you how to meet with them! If you are still exploring majors, you will continue to be advised by the Office of Academic Advising until you declare a major.
No matter who your academic advisor is, they are here to help you understand your credits, courses, and graduation requirements. We strive to connect students with the campus resources they need to thrive.
-
Graduate Academic Advising
Graduate students can contact your department for information on academic advising, including curriculum and graduation requirements, mentoring, opportunities for involvement, and the dissertation process.
-
Office of Graduate Education
Supports graduate students to be fully equipped to pursue academic excellence, develop professionally and engage with our community. The Office of Graduate Education can help you navigate and maximize your use of University resources, Including questions about continuous enrollment, changing programs, applying to graduate, or other graduate-specific policies.
