Lamont Opera Theatre and the Lamont Symphony Orchestra present the sparkling wit and glamour of Johann Strauss II's Die Fledermaus. Conducted by Lawrence Golan and directed by Matthew Plenk, this beloved operetta is filled with sweeping melodies, mistaken identities, and champagne-fueled mischief. Sung in German with spoken dialogue in English, Die Fledermaus promises an evening of charm, laughter, and unforgettable music. Don't miss this dazzling highlight of Lamont's spring season. Performances Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of Family Weekend 2026!

Planning Your Stay in Denver
Parking, Lodging, and Transportation
Get information to plan your stay, with all the details on where to park, nearby hotels, and public transportation near the University of Denver campus.
The University of Denver is located just six miles from downtown and is about 16 minutes from the City Center via I-25 or light rail. DU’s 130-acre campus is firmly embedded in established neighborhoods and surrounded by variety of well-known dining and entertainment options.
To help make your visit experience more enjoyable, please check out our DU Visitor's Guide Website which includes helpful resources, tools, and links with associated DU discount rates and codes.
Make your way to DU campus using one of a variety of transportation options, from chartered buses to public transit. We highly encourage the use of public transportation via RTD given the RTD light rail station next to our campus, University of Denver station, which serves as a stop on the E, F and H lines that connect all across Denver. Getting downtown by rail is quick and easy, and you can even use it to get to and from the airport on the new A line, which leaves from downtown Denver's Union Station.
Once you arrive, you can walk across Buchtel Boulevard and walk south across the campus to University Hall, which is located just off S University Boulevard and E Warren Avenue.
The DU neighborhood and Denver as a whole offer extensive opportunities for recreation, cultural engagement, dining, and more. Explore neighborhood guides, learn about the many excellent restaurants around DU, and prepare to enjoy your time in Denver.
The Visit Denver website will provide you with information on things to do, events, places to stay, food and drink options, and the various neighborhoods to explore during your stay. Additional resources, guides, and information about the DU Neighborhood are also provided below.
