DU Family Ambassador Program 

Overview of the Program

DU Family Ambassadors are dedicated family members who play a pivotal role in enhancing the student experience at the University of Denver (DU) by offering support, guidance, and engagement opportunities to other DU families. These ambassadors serve as a bridge between the university and its broader family network, fostering a sense of community and connection.

Timeline of the Program 

Information Session

Application 

  • Click here to apply for the 2025 DU Family Ambassador Role. 
  • Applications are due June 24. 
  • Selections will be made and announced by early July. 

Training 

  • Training will take place via Zoom in mid-July 2025. 
  • Ambassadors will be notified in early July of their acceptance and notified of the training date.  

Timeline

  • June 2025- Application process. 
  • July 2025- Family Ambassador training and July Ambassador Meeting. 
  • October 2025- Family Ambassador Quarterly Fall meeting- in partnership with Homecoming 
  • January 2026- Family Ambassador Quarterly Winter meeting 
  • April 2026- Family Ambassador Quarterly Spring meeting- in partnership with Family Weekend 
  • June 2026 - Application process. 
  • July 2026- The cycle begins again. 

Opportunities that DU Family Ambassadors will support include: 

  • Hosting a Family Send/Off or Regional Event
  • Supporting the Summer Baseball Series
  • Supporting Admissions and Visit Programs & Events
  • Working Discoveries Orientation Family Sessions 
  • Supporting Family Weekend and Homecoming events 
  • Social Media
  • DU Family Experience: Posts, Newsletters, or Community Support and more!
