DU Family Ambassador Program 

Overview of the Program

DU Family Ambassadors are dedicated family members who play a pivotal role in enhancing the student experience at the University of Denver (DU) by offering support, guidance, and engagement opportunities to other DU families. These ambassadors serve as a bridge between the university and its broader family network, fostering a sense of community and connection.

Timeline of the Program

  • Application 

    • Applications are open. Click the button below to apply.

    • Applications will close June 17. 
    • Applications will be reviewed after June 17, and Ambassadors will be announced by the end of the month. 
  • Training 
    • Training will take place via Zoom in mid-July. 
    • Ambassadors will be notified of the training dates. 
  • Opportunities that DU Family Ambassadors will support include: 
    • Hosting a Family Send/Off or Regional Event
    • Supporting the Summer Baseball Series
    • Supporting Admissions/ Visit Programs & Events
    • Working Discoveries Orientation Family Sessions 
    • Family Weekend and Homecoming receptions 
    • Graduation Events
    • Social Media
    • DU Family Experience: Posts, Newsletters, or Community Support
