Community Training Opportunities

  • Faculty

The LEP partners with the Office of Teaching and Learning twice a year, in August and December, to lead a Neurodiversity Institute for faculty to learn about supporting neurodivergent students and Universal Design for Learning.

  • Staff

Starting in June 2023, the LEP offers a Neurodiversity Institute for staff to learn strategies for supporting neurodivergent students in their work across campus.

The LEP also offers additional trainings to individual departments. If you are interested in scheduling a training, please email lep@du.edu.

  • Neurodiversity & UDL Micro-Credential

In partnership with the Neurodiversity Institute for Staff, the LEP offers a micro-credential for participants who successfully apply their learning to their department and work.

For more information about earning the micro-credential, email lep@du.edu.

  • Greater Community

The LEP partners with many community partners including K-12 schools, non-profit organizations, and other entities to provide training on neurodiversity, universal design for learning, and transitioning from K12 to higher education.
