1GenU is a four-year developmental and community-building program that assists first-generation students and their families with navigating the college experience. It provides resources, mentorships, and community support to help ensure each student achieves academic, professional, and personal success.

FIRST@DU Enrichment Fund

The FIRST@DU Enrichment Fund is designed to help first-generation undergraduate students at DU overcome financial barriers and fully engage in the 4D experience. This fund can assist with a variety of needs, such as academic expenses related to attending professional conferences, paying membership dues, studying abroad, as well as short-term health and wellness needs, learning assistance, and technology.
