Identity Based Support

The Cultural Center (TCC) at the University of Denver is committed to inclusion. TCC encourages the development of identity based groups. These groups are created to provide a sense of belonging to students. TCC staff support affinity groups in program design and implementation while also individually supporting students who belong to these groups. A list of current identity-based groups can be found here.

If you don’t see a group that is relevant to you and you would like to start it, please contact us at TCCinfo@du.edu.

    For Undergraduate Groups

Undergraduate students are able to make a Registered Student Organization through the process outlined by the Office of Student Engagement (OSE) and Undergraduate Student Government. First, check to see if there is an existing organization. If there isn’t, check out the process to create an organization.

    For Graduate Groups

Graduate student groups tend to be organized by the individual colleague rather than campus -wide affinity groups for graduate students. But there are ways to start an organization within the department and/or an organization that crosses departments. Learn more about existing graduate groups, and how to create new ones.
