Ready to get involved? The University of Denver offers a full host of student activities, both veteran-specific and for the general student body. Denver Veterans Day Run
The sixteenth Annual Denver Veterans Day Run takes place Saturday, November 9, in City Park. The 5K/10K and the festival start at 9AM, the festival starts after the run. Come support the Denver community by registering below!
DU Hero Games
The 2023 DU Hero Games took place on October 21st on the Campus Green. Competitors in teams of 4 participated in a series of exercises designed to facilitate team building and friendly competition. The DU Hero Games exist to honor fallen service members, strengthen the DU community of students, student veterans, and local community members. Date and time of the 2024 Hero Games TBD.
DU Veterans Ball
The 2025 DU Veterans Ball will occur on April 5th in the Joy Burns Center's Tuscan Ballroom. Military Balls are traditional formal gatherings that bring service members and their loved ones together to celebrate and participate in various festivities. The DU Veterans Ball will recognize student veterans' service and commitment to the public good. It will be a night of dining, music, and other festivities centered around DU's military-affiliated community. Click the registration link below to register yourself and your guests.
