Office of External Relations: Our Services

OER serves as the communications and storytelling hub for Student Affairs. We build campaigns that support recruitment, retention, engagement, and fundraising. We lead the division in branding efforts, assist in crisis communications, and manage digital platforms, media relations, and creative services that connect people to the Student Affairs experience.

Our division develops strategic campaigns that advance core priorities, including attracting students, strengthening engagement, improving retention, and supporting fundraising efforts.

Branding and Storytelling

Our division leads branding and storytelling efforts through the development of tools and resources, staff training, media relations, and graphic design.

Marketing and Communication

We connect audiences through coordinated marketing and communications across digital channels, including social media, websites, and digital displays.

Crisis Communication and Issues Management

Our division assists with crisis communications and issues management in collaboration with UR and divisional leadership to help identify challenges early, coordinate responses, and support clear, timely communication.
