Events

The Community Commons offers many different spaces available on each floor of the building for reservation to the DU Community and external groups. From small meetings to large gatherings, we can meet many event needs. If you are an external group (not part of the DU Community) interested in having an event or meeting at the Community Commons: please visit and connect with DU’s Conference & Event Services.

Reserve an Event Space or Meeting Room

The Community Commons offers reservable spaces for meetings and events of various sizes. Reserve a space using DU's Momentus Reservation Website.

All questions regarding events and reservable spaces in the Community Commons should be directed to our Events Team at ccevents@du.edu.

Reservation Priority List

Given the Community Commons is a student focused building, we aim to prioritize their event and meeting space needs, while balancing the needs of the departments that reside within the Driscoll & Community Commons (DCC). Once these groups requests have been met, we open the reservation process to all DU community members. 

• Departments that reside withing the Driscoll & Community Commons (Signature Event Request Period, Weeks 1-4 of Spring Quarter
• Registered Student Organizations (RSO's) (RSO Space Lotto, Weeks 5-9 of Spring Quarter)
• DU community members (approved once the Signature Event Request and RSO Space Lotto’s are completed, typically post -graduation)
• External Groups
